Dr. Stoltz is a highly accomplished faculty, administrator, and influential leader in nursing education in California and abroad. Dr. Stoltz was the founding Director of the School of Nursing at Touro University California and served as Chairperson of the School of Nursing at California State University-Sacramento for five years, successfully overseeing five programs and 600+ students. Dr. Stoltz brings to Pacific decades of experience in healthcare, higher education, academic advising, curriculum development, accreditation, and public speaking.

Stoltz earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San Jose State University (1975), a Master of Science in Nursing from California State University-Sacramento (1995), and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from U.C. Davis (2005). Stoltz has a passion and research interest for the art and science of effective mentorship, has served as an advisor to numerous faculty and students, and is active at the state and national level in developing policies influencing nursing education and care. Since 2016 she has served on the board of directors for a non-profit in Sega, Kenya, committed to decreasing the mortality rate for children under five years of age.
