Philippe Vasquez, MPAS, PA-C graduated from the Interservice PA program (2010) with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the University of Nebraska. He began his medical career as a U.S. Army combat medic EMT. His PA clinical background includes occupational medicine, flight medicine, and pain management. He continues to work part-time in pain management and serves in the California Army National Guard as an Aeromedical PA.   He has been involved in PA education, starting in 2015 as a preceptor for various PA programs, and joined Pacific in 2023.  

PA Vasquez has received numerous professional and military recognitions and medals. He is a member of the Pi Alpha Physician Assistant Honor Society. A few of his military awards include the Order of St. Maurice Medallion, Meritorious Service Medals, the Air Medal, and Army Commendation Medals. His scholarly focus has been infectious diseases, including treatments for plasmodium falciparum malaria.

 PA Vasquez spends his free time with his family and the collection of pets residing in their home. They have recently been involved in rescuing and fostering kittens, including those with special needs. He enjoys 49ers football, running, exercise, hiking, snowboarding, concerts, travel, and adventure!
